Co-Curricular

SBS hosts an exceptional After School Program.  Nearly half of the students remain on campus to enjoy fun activities, homework support, and a healthy snack.  The program runs daily till 5:30 PM with transportation available.  Parents must apply for the program every fall.  

Chess Club - Students grades 4 - 8 have an opportunity to learn and compete in the game of chess.  Practices are after school and the students compete on Saturdays.  

Ballet Folklorico - Students grades 2 - 8 have an opportunity to learn and perform this beautiful art form.  Practices are after school and students perform at various school and community functions.  

Students in grades 6 - 8 have an opportunity to serve their school in a leadership capacity.  Student body officers include President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Representative.  Our student leadership is responsible for planning student events such as spirit rallies, dances, and lunchtime activities.
