The mission of the SBS library is to assist students and teachers with books and materials to improve reading levels and academic achievement in the classroom.  Additionally, it is our mission to enhance the reading interests of SBS students so that they will be lifelong readers.
Hours - Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Check Out - The SBS library has many books, magazines, movies and audiobooks from which to choose from.  Library materials are checked out for a two-week period.  Students and parents may have up to three items checked out at a time.  No late fees are charged.  However, parents will be billed for damaged or lost items.  Students may lose privileges due to outstanding books.  We would like to emphasize that parents and guardians are welcome to check out library materials as well.
Activities and Contests - We will have several contests and activities throughout the year to encourage students to read as well as write.  We will celebrate Dr. Seuss Day, Read Across America, Wild About Reading, CYRM reading and voting, and poetry writing contests.  We will also have our annual Book Fair in November.
