Principal's Message
Welcome to Silas Bartsch School, the home of the Bengals. Thank you for visiting our website to learn more about our wonderful students and staff as well as our excellent school program.
In accordance with our strong belief that every student will learn at high levels, we are driven by the "Essential 6." (1) Expectations are made clear to all involved. (2) We ensure that teachers and students are equipped with the tools needed for success. (3) We generate opportunities for success on a daily basis. (4) We encourage all on campus to do their very best. (5) We recognize our students and each other for their efforts and hard work. (6) Most importantly, we demonstrate a genuine care for each other and our students.
We will continue to focus on equitable access for all students in all content areas, along with strong English Language Development strategies, Physical Education, Visual and Performing Arts, and extracurricular opportunities so that all students may attain their highest potential.
Bengal Spirit is evident at our school, as our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) system has earned Gold Level status for multiple years. Students know that being a Silas Bartsch Bengal means we R.O.A.R. by showing that we are:
- Respectful
- Organized
- Ambitious
- Responsible
Throughout the year, students have many opportunities to receive recognition for meeting our school’s PBIS behavior expectations. We are always looking for opportunities to recognize students for demonstrating that they know how to R.O.A.R.
I invite our parents and families to be involved at Silas Bartsch School. Parent Teacher Club, School Site Council, English Language Advisory Committee, Parent Academies, and other family engagement events are just a few ways that you can participate in committees and events at our school.
I look forward to partnering with you on behalf of our future leaders as we prepare them for college, career, and beyond. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at (559) 305-7360.
Respectfully,
Mr. Wagner
