Silas Bartsch School opened in October of 2009. We are named after Mr. Silas Bartsch, the first Superintendent of the Kings Canyon Joint Unified School District. Our school serves nearly 670 students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade and includes a staff of 32 teachers and 42 support staff. We also have an on-site Preschool and a TK-1st Special Day Class.

Mission Statement 

Silas Bartsch School, in collaboration with our educational partners, is committed to producing academically proficient students and positively engaged citizens through a rigorous course of instruction and a  comprehensive system of support within a safe learning environment.    
 
Our vision for our students is that we have academically and socially prepared them to be successfully independent.   

We are striving to be the best on the planet and we pride ourselves in making it happen.
